How did I became a Windsurfer:
My dad introduced windsurfing to me at the age of 13, during our holidays in Langebaan on the West Coast of South Africa (now my home town). I became addicted! I’ve been a sports-fanatic from a very young age and windsurfing became my ultimate thrill! I’m privileged to live in one of the best windsurf spots in the world. After I completed my Food Science degree, I started my own wedding cake business that keeps me busy, when the wind isn’t blowing. I spend hours on the water daily racing, free riding or catching waves and love to push my limits in the strong stormy 40knt winds! I enjoy representing South Africa at international events and encouraging more women to be part of this amazing sport!
