We are very happy to celebrate the great performances the 2014 riders have reached in WEEK 3 despite difficult sailing conditions; with 1 week still to go, strong winds are forecast this coming Thursday.

Some riders are leaving us to go back to their countries.

The Dutch competitors Jacques van der Hout and Hans Kreisel have exceeded their best speeds respectively with 49.06 kts and 49.66 kts.

CONGRATULATIONS to Chris Ballois (FRANCE) for achieving the first ever Disabled Kite Surf World Record after only two successful runs and achieving an impressive 42.94 kts!

Our special lucky DIAMOND PRIZE DRAW was won by an ecstatic Erik Beale.

The latest arrival to the 2014 event is world famous Chris Bertish (South Africa) and we are expecting kite surfer Zoran Jovanovic (Serbia) to arrive this week.

Last night’s WEEK 3 closing ceremony was extended with superb music provided by Andrea Baldini (vocals) and Alberto Possati (guitar + vocals) with the participation of competitors adding their vocal attributes! A truly superb evening was had by all in the Luderitz Nest Hotel’s Crayfish Bar & Lounge.
